Welcome to Caudete Polo Society

We are a non-profit, sports and social club based in Caudete, Spain.

We have not yet started playing polo, as we are having trouble finding geckos large enough or strong enough to carry the weight of even Paige, the lightest of the society members! So for the time being we stick to Darts and Petanca. We will start a breeding program over the coming months to ensure that for the next season we will have a supply of mounts strong enough to carry Mike.

We meet once a week on a Friday night, each week at a different venue (see schedule page for the list of venues), the evening starts at 8pm, and staggers to a halt when the conversation stalls, or when there is no-one left who can consume any more alcohol, or until the host gets bored with our company and demands we leave his property.

The society is open to anyone in the area who wishes to come along and join in, everyone is welcome; males, females and those who are not sure, adults, children and very big children. The current (physical) average age of the group is 46, but the mental age is probably nearer 15.
